Search still on for Sepulveda window shooter

Police are searching for the person(s) responsible for shooting and shattering the windows of five Manhattan Beach businesses on Sepulveda Boulevard, over the course of two days last week.
“We can’t tell if they’re related, but because of their proximity, it appears they are,” said MBPD Lt. Nan Rados. “The way the windows shattered was the same.”
On August 17, Debonaire Cleaners was targeted at 8:20 a.m., followed by Skechers’ corporate headquarters at 8:45 a.m. At 8:20 a.m., police discovered a shooting at Auto Werkstatt that they believe occurred during the night. On August 18, Castle Bar and a vacant property several blocks down were shot at within minutes of each other, shortly after midnight.
The size of the holes in the glass and the fact that no bullets were found led police to believe they were caused by a BB or pellet gun, Rados said.
All businesses were closed during the shootings, however a maid was present when a bullet sailed into a window at one of the locations. Nobody was injured in any of the shootings.
A similar incident was reported in Hermosa Beach on August 17, according to Rados.
“That one seems to kind of fall in line with the others too,” she said.
“I just hope what happened in Torrance doesn’t happen,” MBPD Chief Rod Uyeda said, referring to the case of a Torrance man who was arrested last year after driving around shooting out the windows of South Bay cars, homes and businesses because he was bored.
Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents should contact MBPD Detective Sgt. Brian Brown at (310) 802-5123. ER
