Manhattan Beach Tree lighting attracts thousands

Manhattan Beach Boulevard was jammed with festive folk enjoying the city’s annual tree lighting. Photos  
Santa Claus took Christmas wishes from local kids in advance of his busy day on December 25. 
Mayor Nancy Hersman, accompanied by her daughters, welcomed local residents to the pier.
