Environmental reporter and Pulitzer Prize finalist Rosanna Xia, Heal the Bay president Tracy Quinn and Los Angeles County Beaches and Harbors Planner Warren Ontiveros will lead a panel discussion titled Rising Tides: Exploring LA’s Readiness for Sea Level Rise on Sunday, from 3 – 4:30 p.m at the Hermosa Beach Community Theater.

Hermosa Beach Emergency Management Coordinator Maurice Wright, Hermosa Police Officer Mick Gaglia, and Los Angeles County Fire Department Firefighter Brian Kane will lead a discussion on Emergency Preparedness for Businesses at noon on Tuesday, April 30 at the Clark Building, 861 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach.
