Ballroom dancing
On the evening of Valentine’s Day, the Older Adults Program will host a ballroom dancing event at the Joslyn Community Center from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Swing and Sway program provides a safe, non-smoking, non-alcoholic environment for adults to dance. Music is provided by professional DJs; there will be light refreshments. No RSVP required. Admission is $7 per person. Leadership MB info night
Leadership Manhattan Beach will hold its annual information night next Wednesday, Feb. 19, and Wednesday, March 19, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Manhattan Beach City Council Chambers. The workshop will cover the benefits of joining LMB’s Class of 2015, such as developing strong leadership skills, gaining valuable insights into the local government and becoming a more effective member of the community.
