The Seahawks picked up momentum in the fourth quarter, giving 6’6″ sophomore forward Jeremiah Headley momentum to slam an astounding dunk with 39.3 seconds remaining. Saturday night, Headley’s dunk featured on ESPN Sports Center as the Top Play.

Junior guard Ian Fox sank 11 points and senior co-captain Derek Biale added 10 to the 54-47 victory over College Park High School.

The stadium resounded with “Thank-you Reg-gie” chants when the buzzer sounded in honor of head coach Reggie Morris Jr., who took the helm of Seahawk basketball just last year, leading the team from an unsuccessful 10-17 season to a 21-game winning streak and, ultimately, a state championship.
