On the evening of March 21, the Palos Verdes Art Center (PVAC) hosted its opening reception for the annual and highly anticipated “Pre-Shop” Collected Treasures Sale. The silent auction featured a Marc Chagall lithograph, a Frank Romero signed print and a gourmet dinner to include wine pairings for up to 10 guests at a beautiful Paseo Del Mar ocean view home, prepared and served by members of the Circle’s Tuesday Literary Book Club. Items for sale included credenzas, book cases, bar chairs, fancy end tables, rocking chairs, antique clocks, china, artwork and treasures from around the world. The Circle, a fundraising arm of the PVAC, orchestrated the event with loads of volunteers on hand and experts in every area available to answer questions regarding the collectibles. Proceeds benefited the PVAC and its educational and exhibition programs.
