Great Blue
Set deep below the edge of the water, where there’s nothing but a vast amount of blue water in front and around you, the Great Blue game grid will appear centre screen, comprised of five reels and three rows, all attached to 25 paylines.
In the waters surrounding the game grid, you’ll see air bubbles floating towards the surface.
Although the graphics are simple, this doesn’t detract from the detail of the symbols or the air bubbles floating in the water.
Symbols
As mentioned before, the symbols represent just a handful of the creatures and animals that live deep down in the waters, which include:
- Air bubble playing card symbols 9, 10, J, Q, K and A.
- A neon-pink starfish.
- An orange seahorse.
- A yellow tropical fish.
- A black and grey shark.
- A green turtle.
- A pink oyster shell with a pearl inside – the scatter symbol of the slot.
- A black and white killer whale – the wild of the slot.
The wild symbol, the killer whale, can substitute itself for all other symbols on the reels, apart from the pink oyster shell scatter. Not only does it substitute itself to help create potential winning symbol combinations, but if you create any wins with the killer whale, it will also double your winnings.
However, the scatter symbol, the pink oyster shell, unlocks the Sea Shells feature if three or more are spun onto the reels within the same spin.
Bonus Round – Sea Shell feature
When unlocked with three oyster shells landing in the same spin in the base game, the Sea Shell feature will begin by sinking down to the ocean floor.
On the ocean floor, you’ll be presented with five closed oyster shells. It’s here where you’ll need to choose only two shells to open and see what’s inside. Inside the shells could be anything from free spins to multipliers – but you won’t know what’s inside until you open them.
Once you’ve chosen your two shells and revealed what’s inside, the free spins feature will begin.
Will you be diving down into the Great Blue on your next trip to the virtual casino?
