One year of complimentary dining at Terranea Resort, a 2022 Lexus RX 350, 20-guests hosted on a 75-foot yacht out of King Harbor, and luxe vacations at swanky homes worlds away were among the auction and raffle items offered at the Main Event at Terranea Resort last month. Proceeds went to the Peninsula Education Foundation (PEF) for teacher salaries and school programs that the school district otherwise couldn’t fund. These include librarians, music teachers, and summer academic programs. The evening’s menu started with a poached pear salad, duo braised short ribs with a port wine sauce, and salmon in lemon oil with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The desserts were enjoyed while listening and dancing to the band, “Super Diamond.
