Best Cajun Restaurant

Ragin’ Cajun’s Steve Dominque closed down his Hermosa Beach landmark at the end of January with a party worthy of Mardi Gras in New Orleans, with help from Lisa Haley and her Zydecats. The party is scheduled to resume the first weekend in April at the new Ragin’ Cajun in El Segundo Plaza. Photo
Best of the BeachRagin Cajun – We would recommend that you hike yourself hence to the Ragin Cajun to enjoy a bowl of gumbo or a plate of their famed jambalaya – but you can’t. There’s a bittersweet quality to their win – their location on Pier is boarded up, and the new one in El Segundo has yet to open the doors. Those who are in withdrawal from Cajun food and Stephen Domingue’s hospitality will have to hang on a little longer; watch these pages or just listen for the shout of joy from all your fellow aficionados of Louisiana cuisine.
