With an original LP, EP, and loads of touring under their belts, this local band has kicked butt both here and abroad with their swirled mix of rock, reggae, blues, and new age surf. But they’ve been in creative flux, and it’s with the recording of their third album that they’re settling into their sound.
“We’re hard at work in the studio right now,” says guitarist Jeff Nisen. “The new direction we’re going is acoustic… back to our roots… grew up listening to CSN and Eagles… It’s a brand new sound with old school harmony influences from the ‘70s… still have the laid back beach vibe though. We finally found our sound.”
The new LP is scheduled for release this summer.
