Santa’s coming

Children between the ages of two and 10 are invited to celebrate Santa’s arrival to the South Bay Galleria with a breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. To reserve a spot, call (310) 371-7546.

Tween entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurial girls between the ages of seven and 13 can hone their business skills over Thanksgiving weekend at Camp Bizzy Girls. Returning and new students can expand their product lines and learn to sew. Classes run between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 25, 26, 27, 29, and 30. To register, email bizzygirls@yahoo.com.

Alzheimer’s workshop

On Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Senior Helpers and the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America will host a free educational workshop at the Main Library for people interested in learning more about Alzheimer’s and dementia and resources available for patients and their caregivers.

Suds and Staches

Cancer Support Community-Redondo Beach presents Suds and Staches, a ‘Movember’-themed event to raise awareness for men’s cancers. To register, call 310) 376-3550 or, visit cancersupportredondobeach.org.

Adult sports leagues

The City of Redondo Beach is taking team signups for the following adult sports leagues – men’s and co-ed slo-pitch softball (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nights), men’s and co-ed indoor volleyball (Monday and Wednesday nights), men’s basketball (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights).
