The South Bay’s best new restaurants of 2013 [VIDEO]

Chef David Lefevre has returned to his Water Grill roots, opening up the 30 seat fresh seafood restaurant, FWD, just down the block from his popular Manhattan Beach Post.

Easy Reader food critic Richard Foss last week reported his top ten new restaurants that opened in the South Bay in 2013.
“It is no exaggeration to say that 2013 was the best year ever when it comes to both culinary innovation and execution,” Foss wrote. “I dithered over this list until the last moment, because so many places opened serving such a diverse variety of food at different price levels that the decision was very difficult. This year’s crop included some wonderful and unlikely eateries to fit any budget.”
Videographer and photographer Brad Jacobson visited each restaurant.
The list, in alphabetical order:
Alfredo Garcia’s
Avenue Italy
BamBiBu
Circa
Doma Café
Fishing With Dynamite
Little Sister
Panela’s Brazilian
Ragin Cajun
Rice
