Mira Costa’s Tominaga goes two for two at SBHS Surf League finals [PHOTOS]

Mira Costa’s Rachel Tominaga took top honors among the women in the South Bay Surf League finals by placing first in both the women’s shortboard and longboard divisions. The contest was held Saturday, February 25 at the Hermosa Beach pier in clean 2- to 3-foot surf. Redondo’s Connor Beaty was awarded the Waterman’s All Around trophy for the second year in a row by winning the men’s longboard division, placing second in the shortboard division and sixth in the body board division. Noah Collin of Mira Costa won the short board division and Bishop Montgomery’s Alex Numa won the bodyboard division. PHOTOS BY BRAD JACOBSON
