Strand House pastry chef Stephanie Franz, winner of the 2011 “Cupcake Wars,” created a slightly larger than usual cup cake for the 2014 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings this week.

It was three-feet tall, weighed 130 pounds, including 40 pounds of fondant and baked in the shape of the Stanley Cup.

The Kings were served the cake following their Wednesday victory parade through Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach. Each player’s name was inscribed on the cake before it was dusted with edible silver dust.
