Contributions Needed For Cancer Lifebook Project. Cancer Support Community-Redondo Beach is seeking cancer survivors, cancer patients, their caregivers, family members and children to contribute creative material for an upcoming Lifebook project. The final project will contain writings combined with pictures, photos and other creative expressions to create a Lifebook of different cancer journeys. Community Outreach Event, P.S. I Love You Foundation presents Day At The Beach, Adopt A Child For One Day. Over 250 at-risk children, ages 5 to 12, from local shelters, foster care and Title 1 schools will be paired one-on-one with caring adult volunteers for a day of fun and friendship complete with relay races, face painting, surf lessons, and more! CELEBRATION
The Richstone Family Center’s 40th Birthday Beach Bash. In celebration of its 40 year history of helping vulnerable children and families in need throughout the Greater South Bay, the Richstone Family Center will host a special evening on the Beach at King Harbor.
