Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Caring House will host a free screening of the PBS “Frontline” documentary “Being Mortal.” A panel discussion by end-of-life experts and community members will follow the screening. Based on the best-selling book by Dr. Atul Gawande, the event is underwritten by The John and Wauna Harman Foundation in partnership with the Hospice Foundation of America.
