24th Smackfest beach volleyball tournament among event’s best
Approximately 1,000 men and women formed more than 30 teams competing in the Fun Division at the 24th annual Smackfest costume-themed Coed 4’s beach volleyball tournament Saturday in Hermosa Beach
To accommodate the AVP Hermosa Beach Open that will be played in July, this year’s event was played one month earlier and the usual June Gloom weather subsided with warm weather providing ideal conditions for partying under the sun and on the sand.
Popular teams included Running of the Bulls, Endless Hermosa and 50 Shades of Hermosa Beach.
