Belgium beer celebration at Select Beer Store

Select Beer Store will host a special New Belgium Brewing celebration on Thursday from 5-10 p.m. The event will feature limited release beers and special keg taps. Select Beer Store is located at the Redondo Beach Riviera Village at 1612 S. PCH.

Free concert on the pier

The 2012 Summer of Music on the Pier will host Christian Anthony, an acoustic rock band on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. The Leadership Class of 2011 will also be there selling CD’s to raise money for bike racks around the city. On Saturday from 6-9 p.m., West Swell, a Reggae band, will be play on the pier. All concerts are free on the Redondo Beach Pier.

Great food for a good cause

Chalk Festival

The Redondo Beach pier hosts the 10th annual Chalk Art Festival this Saturday starting at noon. Artists of all ages are invited to take part in this event by turning the pier into a canvas over the water. There will be art, music and fun for the entire family. Prizes are awarded!
