24.2 pounds of cocaine seized

According to police, on November 6, around 6:30 p.m. a Redondo Beach canine team was asked to respond to the City of Bellflower to assist Detectives with a narcotics search. The search revealed eleven kilograms of cocaine and over six hundred thousand dollars in cash. The items were seized and booked as evidence as part of the investigation.

Middle school student booked for selling pot

At around 1 p.m. on November 9 police reported that a Redondo Beach School Resource Officer received information that a middle school student sold marijuana to another student at school. Reports say that the subject was identified by several witnesses and was arrested. He was booked for sales of marijuana.

Glass breaking burglar

Around 1:20 a.m. on November 10, officers responded to a burglary at a business complex on the 800 block of N. Pacific Coast Highway. According to police, employees working inside one of the businesses heard unusual noises in the outside hallway and went to investigate. While searching for the source of the noise they saw an subject breaking the window of another office in the building. Respond officers contained the building and directed the suspect to come out and the suspect complied and was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was treated for minor injuries sustained while breaking the glass and was booked for burglary.
