In an effort to spotlight the burgeoning dining scene in Manhattan Beach, the Chamber of Commerce is launching–for the first time ever–a six-day dining week called Dine MB, a concept popularized by the widely-known dineLA.

Dine MB, which runs from Sunday to Friday, will exhibit the diversity of culinary experiences across the city as an up-and-coming food mecca. Throughout the week, diners may choose from a pre-fixed menu at participating restaurants.

Last October, the Chamber of Commerce was approached by the organizers of California Restaurant Month about kicking off a dining week this January in Manhattan Beach, said Brittany Keohi, the Chamber’s director of communication and events. For optimal restaurant participation, the week was set in the beginning of February.

“It’s just to make people aware of what we have down here in Manhattan Beach, to get people’s feet in the door at a lot of our establishments,” Keohi said. “We’d like to highlight the food we have here.”

For $25 a person, diners may choose the pre-fixed menu at California Pizza Kitchen, Fishbar, Hennesseys, OB’s, Rockefeller, Sesame Moes and Zinc; for $35 at Circa, Lido di Manhattan, Petros, Rock’N Fish and The View; and for $45 at The Strand House.

Menus are available for viewing at manhattanbeachchamber.com. Reservations are strongly encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.
