jewelry line to complement her popular rivet-styled handbags. “I just loved how unique it was,” said Hammitt. “It’s just like nothing I’ve ever seen. When I see something that inspires me I just get excited!” She started tinkering away and eventually her new line, Ben Perry Los Angeles, was born (named after her childhood nickname Ben and her Grandpa’s name Perry). Her debut stackable bracelet collection the ‘Cat series’ is based around staple of the collection, called the “Tiger Bracelet.” The entire collection is named after cats, such as cougar, sphynx and lion, and are made of leather in a wide range of colors and mixed metals. “They’re distinctive and can go with anything from daytime to evening,” said Hammitt.

Prices range from $45 to $150. Ben Perry Los Angeles can be purchased at boutiques Tabula Rasa and Cami in Manhattan Beach and will be available in mid-November at benperryla.com. For additional information email benperryLA@yahoo.com.
