Free guided meditation followed by walking the labyrinth, July 20, available from 5:30 to 7 pm.
Meditation will relax your body and mind and with consistent practice, you will become 10% happier as written about in Dan Harris’ book, “10% Happier”.
Location: Redondo Beach Center for Spiritual Living, 907 Knob Hill, 90277.
Reverend Cathi Sinfield, Religious Science Minister, will lead the relaxing meditation at 6 pm. Rev. Cathi is low key and you will like her soothing voice.
When walking the labyrinth, feel contentment with yourself and appreciation for the good in your life. People now walk labyrinths to get in touch with themselves — and it’s a great alternative to regular meditation if you just can’t sit still
Meditation helps to develop the skill to manage your thoughts. Meditation stimulates ideas to know what you want and to accomplish your goals.
When walking the labyrinth, your goal can be to gain clarity in thinking that guides your action to be consistent with your desired outcome.
