These workouts are free of charge for members of SCAQ and Cal Tri fundraising volunteers. For everyone else, the rates are: $90 for the whole summer, $45 for high school/college students (22 years and under).

Olympic Gold Medalist Leads Swimmers Through the Surf!

Come join SCAQ Swim Club on the beach for an ocean swimming session with David Walters! They take place at 6 a.m. Tuesday mornings at Hermosa Beach, 13 Street Lifeguard Tower (just north of the Hermosa Beach Pier, 1 Pier Ave.). The sessions will continue through September.

Ocean swimming is risky and not for beginners. Participants should be able to swim 500 yards in under 10 minutes. If you are a slower swimmer but have extensive surfing experience, this is probably fine as well.
