Every year we choose a few outstanding members of the beach volleyball community to induct into the Hall of Fame. Inductees are those whose contributions to the beach volleyball are truly exceptional and significant, whether through excellent play or other meaningful development of the sport and its community. As a member of our beach volleyball community, we value your input and ask that you participate in nominating the Beach Volleyball Hall of Famers for 2017.
Please send in your nominees, along with a short bio for each one to info@cbva.com by Sunday, August 20, 2017.
The Hall of Fame Committee will review all nominees for eligibility and finishes. The committee’s final slate of nominations will then be sent to the current Hall of Fame members so that they may vote in our newest class of Hall of Famers.

CBVA HALL OF FAME CRITERIA
1) Top ranked volleyball players who have maintained a high degree of excellence and superior play over a significant period of time and and have played in California volleyball events.
2) Each candidate has to have devoted a major part of his or her life to the sport of Volleyball and has made positive and meaningful contributions.
3) For a player to be considered as a viable nominee, there must be a five year interval after playing full time at a professional level.
4) Annually, the Hall of Fame Committee will develop a slate of nominees and select at least one male, and one female, with no more than three players being inducted each year. An additional person may be selected in criteria (2) from time to time, in addition to players selected in criteria (1).
