NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach shall review the annual 2014 City special event calendar on Tuesday, May 13, 2014under “Municipal Matters. ”The Hermosa Beach Municipal Code defines a special event as any organized event, activity, celebration or function involving the use of City property, rights-of-way, or parkland at which twenty-five (25) or more persons are to be assembled, or use of the beach at which two hundred (200) or more persons are to be assembled. The City Council will also generally discuss special event policy.

 

SAID MEETING shall commence at 7:00 P.M., and as soon thereafter as possible the matter may be heard in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.

 

ANY AND ALL PERSONS interested are invited to participate and speak at this meeting at the above time and place.  All written comments will be accepted prior to or at the scheduled time on the agenda for the matter. Please submit your written comments to the City of Hermosa Beach Community Center, Community Resources Department, 710 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach, CA  90254.

 

IFYOU CHALLENGE the above matter(s) in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the meeting described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Resources Department at, or prior to, the meeting.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach shall hold a public hearing on Tuesday,May20, 2014, to consider the following:

  1. Conditional Use Permit, Precise Development Plan and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map No. 66986 for a two-unit condominium at 930 6th Street, and determination that the project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.

  1. Amendment to Precise Development Plan to reconfigure offices, decks, and stairways together with façade and elevation changes in a multi-tenant building at 1301 Manhattan Avenue, and determination that the project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.

SAID PUBLIC HEARINGS shall be held at 8:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.
