Sea Story time
Each Sunday the Roundhouse aquarium staff conducts interactive experiences for children that include listening to a story about ocean animals, exploring animal artifacts, and doing a craft project to take home. Afterwards the children enjoy the wonderful displays the aquarium has to offer. 11:30 a.m. Roundhouse Aquarium at the end of the Manhattan Beach pier. Free, donations appreciated.

Shark Symposium
The 2014 Southern California White Shark Symposium, hosted by LA County Fire Department, Lifeguard Division will address the incresed sightings of White Sharks and help develop responses by pubic agencies, including communications with the public. The symposium is for public safety personnel, city officials and marine educators.
