In his youth, Chris Crocker was a skaterboarder. Then he married, moved to Palos Verdes, had two children and put away childish things. But only temporarily. At 40, he wanted to skateboard again. So on a recent Saturday afternoon, with daughters Sophia, 6, and Katelyn, 8, in tow, he went to ET Surf. He bought his first skateboard there when he was 9 years old. Still behind that same counter where he bought that first skateboard was legendary skateboarder Kevin “The Worm” Anderson. “The Worm” has been ET’s skateboard expert since ET opened in 1971. He recommended Crocker get a board befitting of his age and position in life. Crocker looked as excited as a 9-year-old, when “The Worm” pulled down a bamboo Sector 9 longboard with an airbrush of Honolua Bay on the bottom.

What more does anyone need to know about why ET Surf was voted the Best of the Beach skateboard and snowboard shop.
