Best Bartender – Adam DeRitter (Rock‘n Fish)
A repeat winner as Best Bartender, DeRitter has worked at Rock’n Fish for 10 ½ years and considers the restaurant a home away from home.
The Manhattan Beach native and Mira Costa High School alum said developing relationships is the favorite part of his job.
“I can rejoice with a customer when they celebrate a good moment in their life or help them when they have a bad day,” DeRitter said. “Some of my closest friends started as patrons. We go snowboarding, golfing, out for dinner or drinks.”
The most popular drink DeRitter serves is the Navy Grog.
“It was the signature drink at Hibachi, a restaurant at this location from 1960-2000,” DeRitter said. “I’m proud that we’ve kept that tradition alive for the last 16 years.”
