Next Saturday, July 24, PSILYF will host its 10th annual Day at the Beach in Manhattan Beach. Over 250 inner city kids will be paired with adult volunteers who “adopt a child for a day” of surfing, games, face painting, music, food and friendship.

Calender-Week of Thursday, July 15th

Timeless tales, ticketless admission, priceless experience. Shakespeare by the Sea graces the Beach Cities with four performances in the coming week and a half, July 15 & 16 at Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach and July 21 & 22 at Valley Park in Hermosa Beach, all at 7 p.m. This season’s offerings are Julius Caesar and Twelfth Night. New retail and office condos to open downtown

Developer Nick Schaar and broker Bryn Stroyke team up for a second attempt at an upscale retail and office condominium complex in the beach cities. On Friday, Schaar Homes and Buildings and Stroyke Properties will hold an open house at 1300 Highland Shops and Worklofts, a high-end 34-unit commercial condo complex in downtown Manhattan Beach.
