The Los Angeles County Brewers Guild is kicking off the new year with a brand new event on Saturday, January 28, 2017. The inaugural L.A. Beer & Food Festival lands in Silverlake and will feature unlimited tastes from 45 Los Angeles-area craft breweries as well as complimentary bites from local food partners. Produced entirely by the Guild, who is also responsible for L.A. Beer Week which returns in June, the event was designed to continue the nonprofit’s mission to elevate the profile of craft beer and food. This is the first tasting event in the city to feature exclusively L.A. county breweries and will take place in a more intimate setting in the Mack Sennett Studios. Guests will enter the historic studio and walk into an L.A. Beer Hall where they can taste through over 90 different beers. The Effie Street Food Pavilion will take over an adjacent street to feature over a dozen local restaurants serving bites of beer-friendly cuisine included in admission. The event will also feature a series of educational seminars including How to Pair Beer & Food hosted by local certified Cicerones and chefs. Tickets are available now and cost $75 for VIP admission which grants you early access and $60 for General Admission. Both ticket levels include a keepsake glass. For a complete list of participating breweries and food partners, please view our website at www.labeerandfoodfest.com.
