Manhattan Beach Cultural Arts Division Presents “I ♥ MB”
WHAT: City of Manhattan Beach Cultural Arts Division invites the public to the opening reception of I♥MB, a juried exhibition celebrating the artistic talents of Manhattan Beach residents. Admission is Free
WHEN: Tuesday, Feb. 21st, 4:00 pm—6:00 pm. Award Ceremony at 5:00 pm

ABOUT: “As a longtime Manhattan Beach community volunteer, I created the I♥MB theme in 2008 as a way to engage fellow residents to ‘make a difference’ and give back to our community,” said longtime Manhattan Beach Councilman Wayne Powell.
Powell established the I♥MB exhibit for his two terms as Mayor (in 2012 and 2014) to recognize outstanding people, places and organizations that make Manhattan Beach the community residents all love.
All the work in the exhibit depict the theme Why I ♥Manhattan Beach in various two dimensional mediums. A limited number of artworks will be on physical display in City Hall. However, all submissions will be displayed in a digital photo album on the city’s website www.citymb.info
