Stacy Wise, author of the new novel Beyond the Stars, lives in Hermosa Beach with her family.  Before becoming a full-time writer, Stacy worked in television casting on shows including The X files and Married With Children.

The story: College-student, Jessica Beckett, should be spending her junior year in France, eating pastries and sharpening her foreign language skills, but instead she’s stuck babysitting Jack McAlister, Hollywood’s hottest heartthrob. He’s private, prickly, condescending—and makes it very clear he doesn’t want a personal assistant. Sparks fly.
