Halloween Fétes Des Fous: A few "Not To Be Missed" events in this season of the witch: Two FREE Halloween Parties at Ein Stein’s, Pier Ave, HB presented by RocketGrrl Productions and Dennis Hughues. The first, tomorrow, Friday, October 26, "Be A Star, (Or Just Look Like One)," celebrity look-a-like costume contest. Party starts at 9pm. Modeling and TV talent scouts will be searching the crowd looking for new talent so break out your best Britney Spears belly baring gear. The second, next Wednesday, Halloween Night, October 31, "Haunted Hermosa Halloween Party." Should prove to be a kinetic evening with Tarot card and palm readers on hand, ahem. Trick Or Treat: Because you just can’t trust anyone these dayz, our beach cities have organized some safe candy-getting options: The Manhattan Beach downtown businesses are distributing candy from 4-6pm this Sunday, October 28. Halloween Wednesday, October 31: The Peninsula Shopping Center, Hawthorne at Silver Spur presents store-to-store trick or treat from 4:30-6pm.
