The Palos Verdes Branch of the American Begonia Society is holding its ninth annual judged show and sale at South Coast Botanic Garden, 2600 Crenshaw Blvd., PVP. Walking tour

The Torrance Historical Society is hosting a free walking tour of Downtown Torrance today. This docent-led tour starts at the Torrance Historical Museum, 1345 Post Ave. and covers eight blocks. Open to the public and requires no reservations. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a camera. 1:30 p.m. 328-5392.
