The South Bay Cities Council of Governments will hold a Town Hall Meeting on the LAX Master Plan Environmental Impact Report on Thursday, May 31. It will be held at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center, 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance from 7-9 p.m. For more information call 377-8987.
The sixth annual Grandview Gator 5-K run and walk will be held Saturday, June 9, starting at 8 a.m. The race will start and finish at the Grandview School, located at 455 25th St. This year’s race will include "surf cars and woodies," pictures of you at the finish line, souvenir T-shirt with registration, games, sponsor booths and live entertainment. Medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each adult and child category. For more information call 546-8058.
