Red Line Excursion
Arts Manhattan is sponsoring an excursion Saturday, May 12, to visit Southern California’s best public contemporary art underground via the Metro Red Line. The tour begins at Universal Station in Universal City and continues to selected stations, viewing the different theme representations throughout the Southland’s newest mass transit rail system and concluding at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. Lunch will be served at La Golondrium restaurant on Olvera Street. For reservations and information on becoming a member of Arts Manhattan, call 798-4904.

The Mira Costa Varsity and JV cheerleaders will host a one-day cheer clinic on Saturday, May 19 at Mira Costa High School from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The clinic is open to all elementary, junior high and high school students in the area.
