Guys and Dolls
The 8th grade musical theatre workshop at Manhattan Beach Middle School will present "Guys and Dolls" Thursday and Friday, May 3 and 4, in the school’s multipurpose room. Show times are 8:50 a.m., 11:25 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, and 9:25 a.m., 11:40 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday. Admission is free.
American Martyrs
Sophisticated Snoop XXVIII, the 28th annual Home Tour, sponsored by American Martyrs School will take place the 3rd weekend in May. Once again, six homes representing an incredible blend of uniqueness, sophistication, architectural style and eclectic décor will be open for viewing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 18-20. This year, one will enjoy homes with six different styles — from the best of Italy to the warmth of Williamsburg to the opulence of Europe to the delight of Cape Cod to a collectors dream to a gallery-like show stopper. Tickets at the presale donation of $20 may be purchased at American Martyrs School, Banner Stationers, Corner Cottage, Christie, Fran’s Hallmark, Hillside Pharmacy and Le Garage.
