Parrots and stories
The Katy Geissert Civic Center Library in Torrance is hosting a performance of "Parrots, Pirates and Magic, Oh my!" The show features a colorful sailor and his two highly trained Macaws, which includes tricks performed by the birds, great stories and magic. 4 p.m. 618-5964.
