
Merciless pitching by Mira Costa senior David Johnson led Mira Costa to a 10-0 mercy rule victory against Torrance High on Wed., Mar. 21. Last Friday the Mustangs again defeated the Torrance 14-4, bringing their Bay League standings to 2-0. Their overall record is 7-3. The Bay Harbor Redwings PeeWee B division entered the Southern California Amateur Hockey Association playoffs in first place and went on to win the championship title in a 4-3 game against the California Comets from Costa Mesa. After going into the playoffs in sixth place out of 10 teams, the Bay Harbor mites (ages 4 to 6) won the championship game last weekend in double overtime by a score of 3-2.
