Celeb Sightings: David Arquette, Michael Douglas and Michael Keaton were all spotted, (on separate occasions), hanging out at Shellback Tavern, MBB, MB recently. Saturday Spring Concerts: The Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Division has revamped its Classical Sands concert series, renaming it "Manhattan Nights," changing the locale from Barnabey’s Hotel, Sepulveda, MB, to the ICAAN Galleries, downtown, MB, changing the food fare from a buffet-style dinner to light refreshments, dessert and coffee and dropping ticket prices from $40 to $15 per person. The Final Four: March Madness culminates this week-end with the Final Four, Saturday, March 31 followed by the Championship game Monday, April 2. This is the first year since 1993 where all four teams were considered legitimate contenders to win it all when the tourney began with Michigan State and Duke seeded number one, Arizona number two and Maryland number 3. In 1993, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina and Kansas all rolled into the Final Four. I’m sure I don’t have to remind Michigan fans of Chris Webber’s, (now of the Sacramento Kings), infamous time-out call which cost you the championship that year. This year Michigan’s in-state rival Michigan State will try to become the first team to win back-to-back championships since Duke did it in 1991 and 1992. Should prove to be an exciting week-end…
