Robbery
A woman was robbed as she was getting into her car on the 1600 block of Hawthorne Sunday afternoon. A young man, wearing a white T-shirt and faded blue jeans stepped up to her and demanded her money. The woman handed over her purse and the man took off.
Pizza Robbery
A pizza man was robbed on the 2600 block of Mathews after midnight Saturday night. Two teenage robbers demanded the pizza from the driver, threatening to stab him with a knife if the didn’t hand over the pie. The delivery man forked it over, and the two teens fled on foot.

Someone tried to steal a 1995 Harley Davidson parked on the 200 block of Yacht Club Way last Thursday. They didn’t get away with the hog, but someone did manage to steal a brand new Ducati motorcycle from the same block at some point between last Tuesday and Sunday.
Toolbox bandit
Someone broke into the garage of a house for sale on the 200 block of S. Lucia last weekend. The thief carted off a tool box, a drill, chairs, a garden hose, a vacuum cleaner a charge and a pull cart, to cart it with.
Real pro
Someone smashed the passenger side window of a Honda Prelude in the 1800 block of Hawthorne Boulevard Sunday afternoon. The car burglar disabled the alarm and stole the car’s stereo, speakers and amplifier, as well as CDs, a camera and school books.
Real amateur
Someone used a rock to smash a rear passenger window of a Toyota Corolla on the 500 block of Anita last Wednesday afternoon. The culprit made off with a computer, CDs and the car’s stereo. ER
