That Christmas shopping has to get done one way or the other. Redondo Beach police reported arresting nine people in four cases of alleged holiday fraud on the 1800 block of Hawthorne Boulevard recently. On Sunday they arrested two men and a woman for allegedly attempting to use a credit voucher they bought with a stolen credit card. Last Thursday they caught two men who allegedly roamed the mall for three hours using a stolen credit card to buy merchandise and gift certificates. Three women were arrested a week before for allegedly using a stolen credit card to purchase gift certificates. Last Saturday a woman was caught allegedly trying to pass counterfeit checks using a bogus driver’s license.ER
