Armed robbery
On Saturday, Nov. 25 a man was robbed at gunpoint at a Sepulveda gas station. It was reported that two men approached the victim, one holding a gun, demanded his wallet and watch, and then ordered him to run or be shot.
Beer stolen
Around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 26, two suspects entered a liquor store on Artesia Boulevard and walked to the rear of the store near the beer coolers. When the owner told them that it was too late for him to sell them alcohol, the suspects broke the lock off one of the coolers and took four cases of beer out of the store. As they were leaving, the suspects told the owner not to call the police.
Cigs stolen
A short time after 6 p.m. on Nov. 24, the manager at a liquor store on Rosecrans Boulevard reported that he heard the rear door alarm go off in his store. He said that he ran to the door and saw three suspects get into a gold van and drive away. Fifty cartons of cigarettes worth $1,850 were reported missing, as well as eight bottles of champagne, assorted bottles of liquor and tobacco products. ER
