HERMOSA SURVIVOR: A local jogger and aficionado of the Survivor TV show reported a sighting of "cast" member Colleen Haskell at the HB pier on Monday. Survivor-maniacs often described Colleen as "cute" and "the coolest one on the show." She landed a role in Rob Schneiders upcoming film Animal. The local jogger asked to remain anonymous, fearing that her Survivor addiction would be met with friendly ridicule. "This is so embarrassing," she said
IRON RESOLVE: Organizers of the annual July 4th "Ironman" paddle and run event, which ends with a front yard chug-a-lug barf-a-thon attended by hundreds, have been watching the HB city councils moves to control large parties, especially on that rowdiest of holidays. "Ive been in contact with people who run the Ironman," cackled a source close to the event. "Guess what? They told the council to [bleep] off, theyre going to do it anyway!"
