Lobster fest
Who needs Octoberfest? If you're not choosing a lobster dinner over sausage and beer then you probably deserve to hear a bad oom pa pa band instead of Lee Rocker, The Nelsons, Dave Mason or Chuck Negron (formerly of Three Dog Night). Redondo Beach's annual lobster bacchanal starts Friday, Oct. 13, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 15. For more information, call 376-6911 or visit www.lobsterfestival.com.

When you've had enough lobster, stop by the Redondo Rotary's banana flambé booth at the Lobster Festival. All proceeds go to aid the family of Kimberly Kelly, a Redondo woman who was the victim of deadly violence.
