Seventh annual business roundtable luncheon

For dogs and cats
There will be a low-cost vaccination clinic for dogs and cats from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Community Services Office, Hermosa Beach. The cost of the rabies vaccine is $5. All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in secure pet carriers. 562-948-2211.

Travel around the world
The 2000-2001 Discovery World Travel Adventure Cinema Series at the Marsee Auditorium at El Camino College will feature 12 full-length color cinema presentations. The Happy Time Pipers, along with the San Pedro Learning Center Chorus, directed by Peggy and D'Jalma Garnier, will bring music and song to the residents and families of the Vermont Care Center, Torrance at 2 p.m. The Happy Time Pipers are celebrating their 25th Anniversary and the Learning Center Chorus is in its second year of performance. Recently, this senior group entertained at the Orange County Fair.
