REDONDO BEACH - About Town
Family mixer
The Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce, along with chambers of commerce from El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Palos Verdes and Torrance, will take over Seaside Lagoon Wednesday, September 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Local restaurants will be handing out treats and Redondo Parks and Recreation will host activities for the kids. Save the Dalmatians
101 Dalmatians (almost) will be on parade at the Redondo Beach Dog Park on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Dalmatian owners and their spotted pups will be marching to promote spaying and neutering of your four-footed friends. Call (310) 784-5718 for more info.
Canceled meeting
The Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce's Thursday morning breakfast meeting with Michael Freedman, who's firm, Freedman, Tung and Bottomley is helping design the Heart of the City plan for a new waterfront downtown in Redondo was canceled.
