Heal the Bay Bash
The 13th Annual Heal the Bay Summer Bash will be held this evening, featuring "Joe's Band; "Mind Illusions" by Sisuepahn, Brian Gillis and Kiyan; and Special Performance by "L.A. Groove Dancers." 705 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach. Doors open at 7:00pm. $15 presale, $20 at door. Proceeds go to "Heal the Bay."
Hoops
The registration deadline is today for the Manhattan Beach Parks & Recreation Department "3 on 3" Basketball Tournament. The tournament is being held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16-17 beginning at 9 a.m. at Live Oak Park (1901 Valley Dr.). The fee is $30 per team and includes a tournament t-shirt, officials, score keepers and awards. 802-5400 ext. 7616
