If you're torn between going out dancing or staying home with a good book next Saturday, the Friends of the Redondo Beach Library may have the perfect compromise. On July 22, they're hosting their 5th Annual Library Dinner Dance on the second floor of the main library. Door prizes, a silent auction and a raffle are planned. A set of tickets for a ride on the Goodyear airship will be one of the prizes up for grabs. Antique Fair
The Western States Antique Faire will be hosted by the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center from Friday, July 21, to Sunday, July 23, and from Friday, July 28, to Monday, July 30. Call (310) 287-1896 for more information.
Concerts on the pier
The Flatland Mountain Rock Band play old time rock-and-roll Saturday, July 29 on the Redondo pier. The Hula Monsters play the pier Saturday, July 29.
Sounds of sax

Veterans park concerts
For the fourth year in a row, you'll be able to howl along when Dogwood Moon takes the stage to play a blend of folk and soft rock. The show starts 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, at the Veterans Park Bandshell. Call (310) 937-6607 for more info.
