The city of Hermosa Beach hosts the second annual "Bash at the Beach" four-on-four football tourney Saturday, May 13.
Cost is $175 per team, and the winners get free entry into the Fast Action Football Nationals in Las Vegas.

The Hermosa Beach school board will meet 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27 in the Learning Center at Hermosa View School, 1800 Prospect Ave., to approve bids for a new multipurpose building at the school, and to review districtwide facility plans.

The "2000 Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce Business Directory & Visitor Guide," a full-color, glossy publication, will be available soon at the chamber offices and will be widely distributed throughout the area, officials announced this week.
The guide will include 10,000 entries and information on shopping, dining, health care, professional services and real estate.
